Adrienne Sumpter



Adrienne Sumpter, MA, MT-BC is a Board Certified Music Therapist, Certified Wayfinder Life Coach, and SoulCollage® facilitator. She has a Bachelor of Music degree in voice performance from DePauw University and a Master of Arts degree in expressive therapies, with a specialization in music therapy and mental health counseling, from Lesley University. She also has training in the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (level 1), and she is certified as a NICU music therapist. 


Adrienne has been a board certified music therapist since 2011. During her career as a music therapist, she has enjoyed working in schools, early intervention programs, adult day programs, neurology clinics, hospice care, and addiction treatment facilities.  Adrienne currently specializes in working with neurodivergent children. She has a passion for using music to facilitate moments of authentic communication, social connection, and emotional expression. 


Adrienne enjoys spending her free time with her husband and four-year-old son, gardening at their local community garden, reading books, making music, and playing at the beach.
