About

With 12 years of experience as a board-certified music therapist, Juliana's expertise includes leading early childhood music classes, providing 1:1 therapy for individuals with autism and their families, and facilitating music therapy groups for older adults. She is passionate about supporting children and teens, using music to foster engagement and meaningful connections.

At R&T, Juliana facilitates music therapy groups for older adults, leads music therapy groups for special education classrooms, and provides in-home therapy sessions for individuals. She enjoys applying her developmental approach to enhance client relationships and deepen their connections with others.

Juliana has a rich background serving children and teens with developmental disabilities, providing individual and group therapy, leading a Creative Arts Team for 8 years, and developing adaptive music, art, and drama programs. She also directed a national training site for music therapy interns, supervising students from universities across the country.

Juliana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Therapy from Cal State Northridge and certifications in DIR/Floortime, NMT, and NICU music therapy. She has provided training for the Early Head Start programs and presented on the developmental approach at the National Conference for Music Therapy and the World Music Therapy Conference in Japan.

Juliana is dedicated to continuous learning and enjoy collaborating with a motivated team of therapists. Outside of work, she loves spending time with family, hiking, and climbing.
