Sam Banister, MT-BC, NMT is a Board Certified Music Therapist and Neurologic Music Therapist. He obtained his Bachelor Degree in Music Therapy from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his internship at The Institute for Music and Neurologic Function in New York. Shortly thereafter, Sam completed the training to become a Neurologic Music Therapist with the Institute of Neurologic Music Therapy at the University of Toronto. He has experience working with in memory care, rehabilitation, adult day services, and adaptive music lessons. When he’s not in session, Sam likes to ride his motorcycle across the seaside and to camp in the mountains.
