More
Ray Auxais is a dynamic drum facilitator, educator, and teaching artist with over twenty years of experience using rhythm as a tool for healing, learning, and community connection. With a BFA in Acting and a minor in Dance, Ray brings a unique blend of performance, movement, and cultural expression to every space he enters. For more than two decades, Ray has dedicated his work to empowering incarcerated youth, underserved communities, and individuals navigating adversity. His approach centers on using the arts to make educational messages resonate—supporting personal growth, emotional expression, and leadership development. Throughout his career, he has reached and inspired over one million people across Southern California, from preschool students to adults. As a bilingual Haitian American, Ray weaves elements of his cultural identity into his facilitation with care and authenticity, offering representation and visibility to voices that are too often overlooked. His mission is simple yet profound: to create spaces where people feel seen, heard, connected, and free to express themselves. Ray’s drum circles are more than rhythmic experiences—they are opportunities for transformation, belonging, and collective joy.
